RIDING AMONGST GIANTS DIRT RIDE
Often referred to as the Red Cederberg, this wilderness area is breathtakingly beautiful. It is well known for its mountains and hiking routes to landmarks like the Wolfberg Cracks and Wolfberg Arch and Maltese Cross, this is only the tip of what the Cederberg has to offer. The area has some of the best conditions in South Africa for wine growing, this has resulted in a few wine farms producing some of the finest wines in the country. The nature of the mountains is such that they are very untouched and as a result a population of Leopards has been discovered and now being protected through interventions of The Cape Leopard Trust Project, which was started over twenty years ago. The chance of a sighting is incredibly rare but knowing the creatures are there adds to this adventure ride.
